Baby Shower!

My church friends threw me a baby shower last week. It was incredible!! A BIG thank you to Monday, Kelly, Catherine and Alisa for doing so much to make it special. It was at Catherines house - which is so beautiful - perfect for entertaining. She had put up these cute Martha Stewart blue/brown party balls on the table. Monday made this amazing cake!! Just look at it... she had never done something like this before. She made fondant icing and pastel colored "ribbons" all over it. It was gorgeous. I absolutely LOVED the cake!! She also had some brownie bites displayed on a cupcake tree. Yum!
My mother-in-law, Georgina, and Tia Flora came. Tia was visiting from Mexico - it was so nice to have here there. They gave me the activity gym and the playpin. Georgina is also working on 5 blankets for her new grandson! She is crocheting around the edge of 4 flannel receiving blankets and also picked out some darling light blue yard to make him an afghan. He is one lucky boy!

Stacie had a ball - I made us little corsages with "It's a Boy" ribbon and silk flowers. She loved it... her friend Anna was there, and they kept each other entertained. She is so excited for her baby brother.

Here is Alyssa with her diaper cake - how cute is that?! I love this picture of her :) How sweet of her to be so creative. There is the cutest cow toy on top and a handprint frame on the bottom.

Thank you, Kelly, for planning the menu. They served some croissant chicken-salad sandwiches, cole slaw, green salad and lemonade. It was delicious.

Here are some presents! I counted 33 people who came or dropped off a gift. It will be fun to put these pictures in the baby's scrapbook and show him how many people love him and were so excited for his arrival.

Opening presents! I LOVE this outfit from Marisa. Cute little alligator shirt with GREEN pants. I can't wait to dress him up... he got so many cute clothes! Marisa also made him a really neat "I Spy" quilt with all kinds of things for him to look at.

Here is the activity gym little boy's "Abue" bought for him. It's so cute... he's gonna love it!

I love these little onesie's from Amber Taylor. It's says "Lil' Peanut" on them. There were 3 onesie's a cute little hat, hand mittens and little booties.... so sweet.

Here is one side of Monday's package - little sayings about being a Mom. I love the quote in the middle, referencing my dream with Tammy holding my boy's hand. It's says "I walked with you once upon a dream". How sweet is that? I'm saving these for scrapbooking...

Here is the other side - full of scrapbook die cuts! She spent so much time on the invitations, the cake and this cute package. So sweet of her... I'm pointing out the cute pregnant lady - love that one!

Monday got him these little socks that look like shoes!! Too fun. Will be so cute to put them on his little feet.

Picture of the pregnant Mama. Wow - check out that belly! I think the camera added at least 10 pounds... 10 inches... something! :) I love being pregnant. It has been so smooth and I love to feel him move around in there. People ask me if I'm ready to deliver...and I have to say 'not yet'! I'm still enjoying the pregnancy. Ask me again next month :p

I brought home all the loot and Rafael was just overwhelmed. He said "WHERE are we going to put all this STUFF?!?!" I was on such a high from the shower, I stayed up til midnight sorting clothes and toys and bath things... I condensed it to this pile in the corner of the living room. Much more manageable now.

What an incredible shower. I am so blessed to have so many great friends and family in my life.
