Pregnancy has been going pretty smooth so far, but the doctors did warn me that my eczema could either get much better during pregnancy, or much worse. So far so good, until this week. I have had a horrible breakout of eczema on my face! I look like a leper - I want to put a bag over my face before going to work. I had tried one of my mildest prescriptions, which didn't do a thing... I tried buying some expensive eucerine, supposedly to give "redness relief". All it did was keep me up all night, made my face BURN and enflamed. I've been trying to cover it up with makeup, but it still looks pretty awful. I called the doctor yesterday and they put me on Locoid for a week. I'm already feeling a ton better - my face isn't burning like it was yesterday. Eczema is such an awful thing to deal with... I hope baby gets Daddy's nice soft skin.
I had another appointment last week - baby's heartbeat is good and strong. He was moving around a lot during the appointment. She got his heartbeat, then he moved, then she got it again, then he moved... she said "well I can tell you he's moving around a lot!" I could feel him bumping around down there. It's been fun feeling him move - I can't wait until Rafael can feel him as well.

Eczema must come from the Galloway side of the family..... I have it, and poor Davis has it as well. My eczema was worse at the beginning of my pregnancy. After the half way mark, I really don't remember having a problem! I hope it improves, or that your medicine continues to work. Good luck!!!
