We're Pregnant!

So we found out we're pregnant almost 2 weeks ago! This is definately the hardest secret I've had to keep, but I've had so many friends who have had miscarriages that I thought it best to wait until further in the pregnancy before we tell everyone. I don't know that I have any reason to worry, but better safe than sorry.

It was a late birthday present - I found out just 3 days after my Birthday. As soon as I found out, I went right out to the store buy a bib that said "I love Daddy". Closest I found was a burp cloth that said it, so I got that, a gift bag and a little happy birthday card for Rafael. When he got home from work, I told him I found him an early birthday present. He felt in the bag before looking in and had this confused look on his face - then he read the card: "Happy Early Birthday, Daddy! I can't wait to meet you. Love, Baby July". We both teared up before we looked at each other and the reality set in... we're gonna have a baby! Very happy moment. I have my first appointment a week from today - I'm just continuing to pray that everything goes smoothly - that we have a healthy pregnancy and a healthy baby.
