Quinceañera

On Saturday, August 4, we went to Sonia Landeros Quinceañera. She is Rafael's cousin, Lulu's, daughter. We went to mass early in the day at Santa Clara church in Oxnard. It was a beautiful service about her renewing her baptismal covenants and devoting her life to God as she enters "womanhood". She wore a beautiful white dress with pink accents. Later that evening, we went to the Reception at the Marriot in Oxnard. Stacie was our personal photographer for the evening. Didn't she do a great job taking pictures?

Her cake - stairs leading up to a castle - and you can see a crystal castle in the carriage next to it. It was really something! They had a nice dinner with chicken, rice, salad and vegetables served to everyone. They had a mariachi that played for a few hours, dancing, cake... they even had a slideshow of pictures of Sonia growing up. It was really nice.
