Grandma Sandy and Grandpa came to visit you this past weekend! It was so nice to have them visit. They loved holding you and meeting you for the first time. You wore your special baseball outfit just for Grandpa...
Grandpa love to hold you like this and you seemed to like it too! He put you to sleep this way a couple times.
On Sunday, August 17, Grandpa blessed you in Sacrament Meeting. They bought you this special blessing outfit - and you looked so handsome in it!! Abue made you your booties. I tried to plan it perfectly so you would sleep during sacrament meeting, but no such luck. You woke up as soon as we left the house and cried throughout your blessing and during most of sacrament meeting. Daddy walked you up and down the hall until you fell asleep again. The blessing was beautiful - Grandpa blessed you to be strong and healthy, to be a good example to your family, to do well in school as you grow up and also to have a desire to learn of your Heavenly Father and Jesus. Mommy got all emotional and shed some tears - it was a special day and we are very blessed to have you in our family. We love you, little Mateo!

What a special day!! Mateo looks so handsome! I love his outfit!! Our Emma cried through her blessing as well. Sometimes babies just have their own plan. =)
Pam he is such a cutie... once my mom gets back in town the next week I'll have to ditch the girls for a few minutes and come over and see him! I know that you are a wonderful mom!
