Happy Birthday Brooklyn!

Our good friends, Dan and Monday, had their little girl Brooklyn's first birthday party on Saturday... we headed straight from the zoo to their party (such the party animals). Dan BBQ'd some tri-tip and garlic bread... Monday had made some awesome potato salad and broccoli salad and beans. YUM! It was fun to meet both their families and celebrate Brooklyn's birthday with them all. Happy Birthday, Brooklyn!

Brooklyn has the right idea... this is exactly how a birthday SHOULD be spent :)

Check out these cupcakes! Mondays sister, Denise, made this... the flower petals are made with fondant icing. So pretty! I was really impressed.
